Offline Money Formula

Offline Money Formula

Today I want to give you a brief review of a brilliant product that just got launched this week by a fellow Partnership To Success student, Gordan Bosnjak called Offline Money Formula.

Now I don’t know about you but as an online marketer, I’ve kind of shied away from anything offline because basically…I don’t think I understand it like I do the online side. Gordan on the other hand is a true expert when it comes to offline marketing and that is what his whole business is about based up in Manchester, UK. He really knows his stuff when it comes to getting local businesses a presence online so they can attract more customers tom their store, restaurant, hotel or whatever it is.

If you think this is something that you’d like to branch into, then having been given access to Gordan’s product I can tell you that it isn’t actually as daunting as it might first seem to ‘on liners’ and we could seriously be missing a trick here when it comes to additional revenue streams for our businesses. In fact the more I’ve thought about this and studied Gordan’s training, the more I’ve come to realise that the idea of helping local entrepreneurs grow their businesses using online methods is a superb way of building a valuable list of loyal customers.  People who are more than willing to work with you time and time again because they now have you down as their ‘go to guy’ and their reference for anything related to marketing their businesses on the internet…and of course you can make serious amount of money along the way.

This brand new product by local marketing expert Gordan Bosnjak isn’t just about showing you a step-by-step system on how to help local entrepreneurs escape mediocrity and get their businesses noticed. It starts right at the beginning and walks you through all the steps involved from creating your business right through to finding your very first client.

Is it really that easy I hear you ask?  Well just think for a second about all the different people you meet every day and include your friends, family, acquaintances, tradespeople or general members of the public. Then consider that these people could actually be local business owners how your vast knowledge of internet marketing could benefit them greatly?

The reason is pretty obvious.  Business owners need new customers all the time; there’s no getting away from that and slowly but surely offline businesses are beginning to realize that the old and conventional ways of marketing just don’t work anymore and as a result, they’ll happily pay a lot of money to anyone who can help them by growing their business for them using online methods thereby taking the weight off their shoulders so they can concentrate on at what they do best, i.e. selling their goods and services.

Offline Money Formula

So what does this course offer to the budding offline marketer?

Inside Gordan’s membership area there is a video course where you will learn:

  • About your client and their needs! How to differentiate yourself from so-called SEO companies, which industries to target and how to find your perfect client!
  • Where and how to find your customers! How to find your first client and then maximise your potential, which networking groups and websites to target!

  • How to provide services to your clients! Learn about on-page and off-page SEO, article marketing done the right way, local search, natural organic search, mobile marketing, video marketing and much more!

  • How to identify your ideal client! You will learn which industries to stay away from and which ones to target by simply applying few promotional strategies!

  • How to find clients without speaking to them! Gordan will introduce you to some really cool strategies to attract new prospects without even speaking to them! This is really exciting…

  • How does this benefit you?

Gordan has condensed all of his long hours and tremendous experience in this field into an extremely easy to follow home study video course. What I like about it is he shows real life examples to prove this is not just some theory and he  teaches you how to get over the most difficult hurdle that every local internet marketer faces: how to get the first client on board…

It basically shows you how to create a local internet marketing consultancy business from scratch, which services to offer and which industries to target. And you know what I truly can’t believe? For all this info, he’s only asking a measly tenner for it during the launch. That’s right… 10 bucks! You can’t buy coffee and a pizza for $10!

My verdict: This is a very straightforward and upfront business opportunity that can help you make some serious money in the offline marketing arena and it’s a no-brainer for the price. Jeez! Just talk to people you meet and you’ll have your first client in no time.

Offline Money Formula

I hope that like me, this has opened up your eyes to the possibilities of substantial income from the offline world and that you found this useful.

SEO Predictions 2012

Hi everyone, today I want to give you a heads-up on what may be coming down the track this year from good ol’ big G. It’s always best to be prepared.

Panda Revisited
It wasn’t common knowledge at the time but a few savvy SEO experts predicted that Google would be looking at banning sites using either spun or questionable quality content over a year before Google’s Panda update hit the market and look at the fallout that caused with many thousands of websites tossed into the supplemental index. There were people who’d basically quit their jobs to manage their online businesses which were making good money

Some of these people saw up to a 75% decrease in revenue as a direct result of what happened when the Panda came calling. That must have hurt!! and now it’s being mooted in professional SEO circles that in less than a year and maybe even sooner, Google will have made major changes to their algorithms once again and will more than likely be penalizing sites using automated SEO to do their optimization.

Google Panda

The Use of Automated SEO Tools – Beware!
Some have already noticed that their hosting companies are banning sites either generated or updated using software like SEnuke or XRumer and as it stands, Google is quietly sitting back, watching and waiting but they know exactly what’s going on. Once the algorithm gets changed (and it will), it’ll be Panda all over again and many thousands of websites will get thrown out of the SERPs rankings so if you’re one of the people involved in gaming the system, you’ve got to ask yourself, is it worth taking the risk on a website that you’ve maybe invested years in developing?

History of Scrape and Spin
For those that think it won’t happen to them, you’ve only got to look back and see what the trends have been doing before. In the early days of SEO way back when, webmasters tended to provide really good content and as a result, their search engine rankings were completely natural. Some would say unfortunately that as soon as people realised that content was one, if not the, most important part of a successful SEO campaign, some bright spark developed a piece of software to scrape content from other sites and then spin it to fool the search engines into believing that it was unique as it wouldn’t be found elsewhere on the web.

.

Human nature being what it is, i.e. inherently lazy, meant that some webmasters completely overdid their ‘scrape and spin’ campaigns such that the quality of content available on the Internet went completely downhill and it was obvious that it wasn’t going to be very long before Google would have to take action and who can blame them?

Literally millions of dollars previously invested in scrape and spin operations went down the plughole and in fairness, Google was indiscriminate in its’ approach to the problem. Some absolutely massive sites (you know the ones!) got stripped of their PageRank and got thrown off their top spots despite having been there as authority sites for years. No-one was safe..

Now What?
Well the last couple of years and particularly now is all about Web 2.0 and although there may not be an official definition of what Web 2.0 is, the fact remains that people have discovered in their droves that there are some really great sites that can be used to upload content to. However and once again, site owners have gone completely over the top with it by taking advantage of push button, automated software to create hundreds, if not thousands of user profiles on the social networking and social bookmarking sites.

If we observe the trend, it’s obvious that there are similarities so it doesn’t take half a brain to figure out what might happen next. For all those who use XRumer, SEnuke, Scrapebox  and any number of other scripts, software and WordPress plugins in the back linking game, you may have a bad hair day just around the corner! Now I’m not being the professor of doom here and that doesn’t mean Web 2.0 won’t work anymore because when it’s used correctly (i.e. without gaming the system), Web 2.0 properties are fantastic sources of back link authority so what’s a solution to averting the inevitable Google slap?

Blog SEO – The Next Step
I’m sure the blackhatters would disagree but for me, I can’t see the point of investing valuable time, money and effort into gaming Google with software and techniques that are likely to get your site thrown to the wolves in the end. Maybe it’s lucrative to take that risk and rake in the money while you can, I don’t know but it’s a risk I don’t personally want to take. For me, it’s far easier just to write content naturally and most of the time I don’t even bother doing any keyword research because that can take up an awful lot of time as well. So here’s some important tip to consider:

  • Blog posts should be of the highest quality you can deliver and give valuable content to the readers
  • Blogs should be hosted on your own account that either has or will gain genuine Page Rank
  • Blog posts should be backed up by additional well-written content on other Web 2.0 properties that link to the original blog post and forms what is known as Tier II SEO
  • We can create another SEO Tier (Tier III) by linking in additional support from the best Social Bookmarking and Social Networking sites on the internet
  • We can also get additional authority to our sites by using the traditional route of article submissions, press releases and so forth as long as they’re all manually submitted and verified.

In other words, it’s back to basics and if we do these things well, our rankings will show it and we can sleep at night without worrying about yet another algorithm change and our empire wiped out.

Until next time…

Best regards,

Partnership To Success–Week 4

Here’s the week 4 update of the Partnership To Success program.

Last week was all about adding some revenue earning ads to our blog in the shape of Google AdSense at the foot of our posts and optionally, below the header. Personally, I chose not to have any banner ads below my header at this time as I want the blog to have more of a clean look to it without too many distractions but that’s the beauty of John Thornhill’s course, it’s your blog and you can do whatever you like with it.

Anyhoo! This week was the start of the list building phase 1. I already have an autoresponder account with Imnica Mail who I’ve used for a number of years and I’m happy with because although they don’t have all the bells and whistles of other AR services, pretty menus and the like, they are much cheaper than their competitors. John is with AWeber and so he can help new people, he advises getting registered with that service as the first step.

The other thing you need to do these days is let people connect with you by various social networking means which is why if you look in my sidebar are several social networking and social bookmarking icons where people can see my Twitter, StumbleUpon, Facebook links, etc. and hopefully follow through those links.

Next was all about setting up a new list at AWeber but obviously if you’re with a different autoresponder service then you can skip the steps that aren’t relevant to you and follow your services’ procedure for setting up a new mailing list with them instead.

The remainder of this weeks’ Partnership To Success training covered all the steps connected with setting up our AR service with confirmation emails to start receiving subscribers to our new list, registering for accounts at the top social networking sites and implementing links to those sites from the buttons on our sidebar.

Next week we’re going to be implementing a lead capture form on our blog so we can start getting opt ins and signups to a free report and training video provided by John. See you then..

Best regards,

Partnership to Success – Week 3

Hello and welcome to week three of the excellent Partnership To Success program that I have enrolled in.

If you remember last time, I covered the first two weeks of the program where someone completely new to Internet marketing can have their own blog setup and hosted and now have several posts to their credit and displaying on their blog for all world to see.

This week we discover how to add Google AdSense and other advertising to our blog so that we can start monetising and creating an income for ourselves.  Now, for those that don’t know, before you can start publishing AdSense ads, first you must sign up for an AdSense publisher account with Google and get yourself a publisher ID.

.

Once you have that, you simply have to enter it into the Flexibility theme settings under the AdSense/banner ads section, and you’re good to go.  Now it’s advisable to go to your Google AdSense account and just check whether you want to block or unblock any add categories that you do or don’t want to be visible on your blog.  For instance, you probably will want block any adult content from being displayed in AdSense ads on your site and there may be others so have a look through and choose whatever suits you.

During this week, we will also discover how to create link categories and add links to other sites onto our blog, including learning how to incorporate links within our posts.  These are subtle, but very important ways of creating an affiliate income through our links to external offers that may interest our readers.

John Thornhill breaks down each step into short five or 6 min videos that are easy to take in and implement “on-the-fly” so as to speak.  With training this short, you don’t have to sit through long lessons taking notes and then have to keep referring to those notes afterwards, while you put into practice what has been taught.

Next week is going to cover some advanced blogging techniques so that we have a firm foundation before we actually enter the product creation phase in a couple of weeks time.  I’ll be back next week to update you again.

Best regards,

Warning! PayPal Can Shut You Down In A Heartbeat

Hi everybody,

Today I want you to look at your business model in terms of whom you use for payment procesing to make sure it isn’t exposed. As you may know, PayPal is an eBay company and probably one of the most widely used payment processors in internet marketing today. It’s quick, simple to use and everybody recognises it. However, what a lot of people forget or fail to realise is that this is a private company, it isn’t like Visa or MasterCard where you can easily go to have a dispute resolved. You have to through their own processes which aren’t always fair.

In my experience, they tend to come down on the side of the buyer whether they were at fault or not because at the end of the day, they really only care about protecting their financial liability as apparently, they are indeed liable for any exposure from merchants in at least some countries and territories. Which leads me to this audio recording of a phone call between PayPal and a well-known Warrior from the Warrior Forum. They basically shut down all of his PayPal accounts with little to no warning.  Have a lsiten….

Anthony Aires PayPal call

Now if you’re into launching Warrior Special Offers (WSO’s) then beware and maybe now’s the time to start shopping around for a new payment processor other than PayPal as it looks like they may be targetting the Warrior Forum and WSO’s in particular as they don’t see them as adding value to the customer regardless of the many great testimonials these Warriors get on their sales pages.

If your business is totally reliant on PayPal or any other single point of failure for that matter then you’d be wise to look at finding alternatives in case the proverbial hits the fan…. and it looks like it will. I speak with John Thornhill by mail or on webinars most weeks and he’s also of the opinion that there could be big shake-ups in the industry regarding PayPal and the Warrior Forum so please be on your guard and have other things in place or at least ready to implement should it all go wrong.

If we don’t then entire businesses can be wiped out overnight at the whim of some jobsworth in their ivory tower who care not for the consequences so on that note, I wish you all continued good fortune.

Best regards,

False Scarcity Tactics: How To Ruin Your Marketing Reputation

Hello everybody on this fine Sunday.

I was hoping I wouldn’t have to go back over this but you probably need to read this after you’ve seen my rant posted earlier last week about unethical marketing techniques employed by some people. It concerns a top Warrior who I’m not going to name, who used what turned out to be false scarcity tactics to play on people’s emotions to get them to part with $997 because “…there are only 10 spots available…send us your money now and we’ll then decide if you get in or not…”  Yes really, that was the pitch

Now I’m sure you’ve all seen this tactic in use in the offline world as well, heck every double glazing salesman in the country must use it “…I can only do it at this price if you buy today…”, etc. but what they don’t do is say “I’ve only got 10 windows left and when they’re gone, they’re gone so pay me now and I’ll decide if you get any or not”, right?

That’s what I object to in this case but not because there were indeed only 10 spots, that would be fair enough but because what has become obvious and apparent is that there are WAY MORE than 10 spots. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if there are unlimited spots available as long as people keep paying, these guys are just gonna milk it for all it’s worth.

Why am I saying that? Well first they said their ‘emergency webinar’ wasn’t going to be recorded but you could see the Camtasia green ‘record’ frame, then we had the ‘only 10 spots’ thing but you could see from the WSPro pay button that way more than 10 people had paid (it was incrementing 3 cents every 3 sales) all the while they were saying hurry up, only 2 slots left then “sorry, all sold out now”. Next we had an announcement that due to popular demand and people whining that they missed the webinar, they WERE going to show the replay and open it up to just another 5 slots.

Hang on a minute? You told us there would only be 10 slots maximum and that the webinar wasn’t being recorded.? Oh right, you lied. I understand now. Then would you believe it, I get another email yesterday saying that it was open again for 24 hours as there were still ‘some’ slots left. Is this a way to run an online business? Well not for me it isn’t.

These guys are apparently major players on the WF but they just ruined their reputation in my eyes by not having the integrity to stand by their own words and out-and-out lying about recording the original webinar. Personally, I believe you should protect your good name, especially on the internet, news has never travelled faster but I’m going to draw a line under it there. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Best regards,
